Everyone helped set up the big tent. The kids love tents, even the frontroom fort kind that are made from blankets and couches. This one was a real treat.
Brian, pretending to beg for something... What was it? Can't remember... To borrow my jacket since he had forgotten his? To get in the van to escape the mosquitoes? To be the first one to help Dad start the fire? To open the treats that were meant to be saved for dinner? Any one of those things were probably begged for sometime that evening, so take your pick. :)Casey had a freshly-lost tooth to show off.
We actually went camping on Casey's Birthday, it was just the thing she wanted to do. Mom and Dad (Grandma and Grandpa) came by to deliver some much-appreciated firewood and to visit with us for the evening. They are always a breath of fresh air, a new energy source for us to all draw from, when they visit or when we visit them.
