What a difference 5 days makes!

If you will remember the post about the zoo, you'll be surprised to see what antics we were up to just 5 days later: From freezing cold sleet and snow, to sprinkler weather in under a week. Granted, Alaska kids run through the sprinkler at the first opportunity, whether it's really all that warm or not. Also, the water coming out of the hose is pretty much glacier melt. So, while the skies were blue, the sun was warm, and the water was cool, it was still not a tropical experience. Still fun, though.

Casey's little piggies, freezing and covered in grass that is still not greening up. By the time the fun was over, everyone was covered in this grassy mess, so it was time for a rinse-off shower and PJs.
Ah, the promise of summer: When the days are long and you can only come into the house after getting washed off. You know that is good stuff.

Fun to see pictures of your house! Funny that it was in the 80's the other day and I wouldn't let the kids run through the sprinklers cause it was too cold. :)
